ABOUT THE SMALL CAR CUP:
This new series designed for those that want to be involved in motorsport without having to spend large sums of money to do it. No matter if you’re stepping up from karting, an experienced campaigner or a rookie, the Small Car Cup Touring Car series will give you maximum fun on minimum budget.
To keep the competition as close as possible we have a controlled but interesting set of car regulations that can be adapted to the multitude of cars up to 1600cc that are available on the Australian market.
These cars are inexpensive to buy, build and maintain with all parts available over the counter at any auto parts store across the country.
WHAT TO DO:
Grab a car up to 1600cc
Standard body, engine, computer and drive train…..
Then throw in some controlled freedoms in various areas such as
Then put them all on a budget priced control tyre
You now have a quick and inexpensive small race car.
The series will consist of 2 classes that are kilowatt based
Class A: 0 – 63kW
Class B: 64 – 86kW
These classes will ensure close (and friendly) competition where the Race, Series and Championship winners can come from either class.
