The event at Sydney Motorsport Park will also play host to rounds of the Australian Radical Cup, TA2 Racing Championship and NSW ProdSports Endurance Championship after their season openers at Bathurst supporting the Bathurst 12hour.

In 2018 the Australian Production Car Championship went down the wire, with multiple pairings able to take home the crown on the final day of racing. Ultimately, in a day of high drama at Phillip Island it was the combination of Pollicina and Simpson who took title honors in their MoComm Motorsports Communications Lotus Exige.

It was a battle of the Lotus at the final round in 2018. One that looks set to continue throughout the 2019 season.

After a thrilling end to the 2018 season at SMSP, Radical Australia cup will return to the Western Sydney venue for the first of two hit-outs in season 2019. While the championship will see its opening round at Bathurst, there’s no doubt that endurance racing at Sydney will throw up its own surprises as Kim Burke seeks to defend his maiden crown.

Joining the program for the SMSP round will be the TA2 Racing Championship. As TransAm continues to grow in Australia they return to Sydney Motorsport Park after Ashley Jarvis secured the title at the venue in 2018. With a strong field lead by the likes of Aaron Seton, George Miedecke and Hugh McAlister, there is no doubt that racing will be as intense as ever.

Added to this lineup will also be the NSW Production Sports Car Championship for the first round of their 2019 season and the all new Endurance Championship for 2019.  We’ve seen a lot of great racing from NSW ProdSports on Blend Line TV in previous seasons, with grid sizes swelling across 2018 for their mixture of sprint and endurance races. No doubt the opening round will produce some great racing with Sydney Motorsport Park lending itself to great battles between horsepower and handling in all divisions.

You’ll be able to see every race of the weekend live here on Blend Line TV, as well as on YouTube, with plenty of social media clips to keep you entertained as well. So make sure to tune in so you don’t miss a moment of action at what is set to be a huge weekend of  motorsport.
