“It handles like a piece of shit, it’s got no drive out of the corners, it’s got way to much F*$%ken power, and it’s f*&%ken ace!” – Garry Roberts.
Garry Roberts is one of the real good guys of Australian Motorsport. A proud competitor and supporter of the Riverside Racing Victorian Sports Sedans Championship, Garry is often found at a race track or under a car. For the past couple of seasons Garry hasn’t been on track, however that hasn’t stopped him pitching in and helping practically anybody else with their race car. Many race meeting points and even Championships are owed to Garry and his relentless help for his “competitors”.
With all that said, it was amazing to see him return to the track behind the wheel of his turbo V6 Indycar Buick powered LJ Torana at Calder Park over the weekend. Thanks to Ran, there’s even some great video to show of this return.
Bring on round 1 of the season in a few weeks time!
